I like to think “Love is Time” to be a nicer truism to aspire to live to. When we think of family and cooking with love, it’s reflective of the amount of time spent over making a dish for a loved one. I started cooking and baking for my little boy, who is all of 4 years old now. A big boy, as he says. He loves to get into the kitchen with us and help measure out ingredients. When we bake, it’s always keeping him in mind. We spend our time discovering and experimenting with recipes. We let our batters and dough rest just enough for the flavours of the individual components to meld in. Never rushing it. Which brings us to that admittedly cheesy motto at the bottom of this page. Everything’s better with Love.
